Kolohe gets 3rd overall, Kolohe Boys get 4th place in final Velocity Summer Series

Kolohe (beginner): Won all thier games in prelims but due to a techincal error they came up just a couple points shy of the finals.  However they still locked down 3rd place for the Series overall.

Kolohe Boys (beginner): Pat, Rob and Micah led this team to the top this event and made us all proud.

Kolohe: Burnt out and beat up - most of our Kolohe roster struggled to keep thier energy level up. Watch out next event though :D 

Kolohe Boys: Stepped it up getting in to the qtr finals and gaining enough points to lock down 7th place. Way to go guys.

Kolohe, was close to making finals but a tough loss to our Kolohe Boys Team didn't help. :P 

Kolohe Kids only lost 2 premlim games and ended up in 5th place now getting them in top 4 for the series.

Kolohe Kidz: Even with complications through out the day, Kolohe Kidz finished their Division in 1st place and after finals received 3rd place. You all played great, keep it up!

Kolohe gets 8th place of 34 @ XPSL Major

Kolohe: This event we won 5 of our 7 games in the Prelims and won 2 of our 3 games in the Qtr finals to end up in 8th place.

Kolohe Boys: Our new squad, with a range of great players is sure to be a top contender at the next XPSL. Some set backs and upsets barely kept us out of the quater finals, but look for great things to come.

JDRF Tournament
4/16/2005 Redlands, Ca.

In one of the hottest days I can remember, over 40+ teams gathered in Redlands to play ball in an effort to raise money for the JDRF, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

With many teams registering the morning of and a few technical errors, the tournament got off to a slow start and had some complications throughout the day.

Some teams played right on and keep up good spirits, while some heat stuck and frustrated with the long day seemed aggravated. For the most part all teams who showed displayed great support for the sport and for the cause this tournament was trying to help.

We'd like to say thank you to our sponsors: WPN Paintballs, Mr. Paintball USA, Heidi Farrel and Maui Skimmers for their continued support of our team and the sport of paintball.

Also a HUGE thanks to all the promoters, Refs and parties involved in holding this event. It seemed to bring a great turnout of teams and hopefully raised a sufficient amount of money to help the JDRF event be a success. (pics here)
